9th December 2009

I created a new double page spread doc. and put 2 coloured blocks in, so they where at the back. Then copied everything from my old doc. to the new one. I also rearranged some photos, as well as my heading.
Next I hope to have my whole word artcle on my double page. I to have finished organising my next shoot.

4th December

To day I edited more photos and placed them and a few more on the double page. I have inserted a drop quote, and made the font slightly bigger than the main article and put it in bold. I have also dont this with the standfirst.
The next thing I hope to do is complete and insert the reast of he article, pulling out more drop quotes, and placing them somewhere else on the page aswell as in the article.

2nd December

I added more photos to my layout and put in some text to get an Idea of what it would look like with it inserted.
Next lesson I hope to have my photos edited even more and hopefull some more added and more text inserted.

27th November

I started my double page spread and got a good start of my layout.

Next week I hope to have more photos added on it.

25th November 2009

Handed in all folder work. Then practiced using InDesign, it took a lot of getting used to, as it did with Photoshop for the first time, but after time I can use it really easily.

Taken a completly different direction with my mag cover.

I have removed some colours, and made it more uniform.

In todays lesson I modified my music magazine name and genre mind map, and oganized the photos I took for my school magazine on a word document. I also mounted my school front cover design onto an A3 peice of paper and started my design for the contents of my school magazine.

23th October 2009

In todays lesson I went out in a group with Becci, Sam and Jack. We took 6 pictures each which were of a sequence of our choice. I chose the football match which was taking place out on the school field. I then put my six pictures into a document and analysed it.

30th September 2009

For today's lesson I designed by first draft of my School magazine, I also managed to get one other draft done which is the design I chose to use as my final design.

9th October 2009

Durring this lesson I was able to get on with my work well, I was also able to use the parts of photoshop I did not already know how to use.

For todays lesson I used photoshop, to create my school magazine. I used a variety of tools, such as; the text tool, to create my phrases and sentences, I also used the rubber, paint pot, zoom, and move tool.

Also I learnt how to rotate the images once I had clicked of it and the same with the text. Another thing I learnt was how to import extra pictures, by dragging them from the folder to the photoshop image in the toolbar at the bottom of the main screen.
